How to manage New Relic public site search

This sample is an internal doc I wrote for content and engineering teams to manage our search results, which was part of all public New Relic site searches as well as a product UI feature called NR1 Help Center.
The Challenge
Our search was a critical component across many different important experiences, from technical support's site (ticket deflection), to our main marketing site, to docs, to an in-product feature called NR1 Help Center. This cut across many teams who needed information on how to keep the index up to date and optimize it for their experience so customers get high value results and the help they need.
Outcome
Created comprehensive search management system used across multiple teams and products
